"Shut what?"

"Oh, hey Jazz, what are you doing down here? Thought you were off to Em's to meet the lovely Cullen sister?" I asked my brother Jasper.

"Uncle Billy needed something dropped off. Since all you guys are here, he called me, then I'm heading to Emmett's. Bella, can I have a word?"

OK, so I was a major bitch to my big bro earlier. I can grant him this, I can be civil. I'm still sober!

"Let's go sit over by the sea." I suggest to Jasper as I give Jake the this convo about MSH ain't over look.

I plank my ass on the sand; bend my legs over my knees Indian style.

I wonder if this how the Chief of La Push sits?

I pat the area next to me and ask Jasper "What's up brother mine?"

"Baby girl you OK? You seemed really bitchy and edgy just now. I know you and I nip at each other constantly but I love you Bella and I'm your brother not Jake and Seth"

I can see the worry in his eyes. I take a few deep breaths before answering him. He is my big brother after all; I don't want to hurt his feelings.

See, Jasper loves Jake and Seth, he was obviously around them a lot when I was younger. But what Jasper fails to see is that 8 years is a big age difference when your kids.

Of course, I'm not opposed to it now. Edward, aka: Mr Sexy Hot or MSH for short is 30! When Jasper was 18, he went away to college. I was only 10, and he was away for 6 years!.

"I love you Jazz." I tell him. "We will always be bonded, you're my big brother! But we have totally different social circles. Stop bitching about Jake, you know he is my best friend and that he will never replace you as my brother!"

He shakes his head and gives me that brotherly smile of his. He knows he's being silly.

"Go, meet this Alice and get drunk with your professional type friends, I love you." I gave him a big kiss on the lips and sauntered back towards the guys.

I watched as Jasper jumped into his BMW and drove off. OK so I'm toyally going to enjoy tonight. I'm getting piss assed drunk and dancing around the fire! But before this can begin I shout on 3 of my best buds.

"JAKE! SETH! LEAH! A word, PLEASE!"

I stand with my hands on my hips, cock my bitch brow at them "Listen to me; I will say this only once, I was thoroughly fucked by Edward Cullen, against a tree in a thunder storm. It was epic, he rocked my world, and no I haven't heard from him since."

"JAKE!" I all but screamed. "All of you listen to me, I'm 24, and I had a one night stand, stop babying me! But wait, how did you know?"

"Rosalie heard Edward on the phone stating he had an encounter with Bella Swan" was Leah's subtle response.

I can't believe he fucking did that! I think to myself. I'll fucking castrate that asshole if I ever see him again! Spilling the deets of our 'encounter' as he wished to call it. Arggh what a prick!

"Let's just enjoy tonight and get so drunk we fall over." was my reply to Leah. I don't want to discuss this any more, I don't want them to see how hurt I actually am, so I put on my best poker face.

I just walked away from them, it's easier that way. I headed over towards Lilly. She's awesome, she is Seth's fiancée. I've only known her for a few years but as she has three older brothers. She kinda comes to my defence when the boys get over protective.

I grab my bottle of wine, fill my plastic cup full and I start to make the rounds. The place is pretty packed and I notice a few cars up in the lot that I don't recognise. I study them for a moment, but don't worry much about them. Hey it's a public place anyone can use the beach

LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED, Jake bellows. He's a loud mouthed ass!

As the sun is starting to set I take in the beauty of the sky. The fire is roaring, the tunes are blaring, and Kid Rock all Summer long is on.

I put my hoodie up, and walk towards the nutters I call my extended family, burying my feet in the sand as I walk.. I love walking in the sand barefooted!

"Bella, Bella, Bella, how's it going short stuff?" asked Paul, He's one of my father's deputies. Paul is just as bad as the rest of us when he is off duty.

"Pauly Pauly Pauly, I'm great!" I reply with a smirk on my face,

Paul is freaking gorgeous, he is 6'3" and built like Jake and Seth. All the La Push boys are! In fact most of the people in this town are gorgeous.

Then there's me, I'm just lil' Bella Swan. But when you think about, they are A LOT of gorgeous looking people around this area.

Makes me wonder if Forks was built on a radiation site eons ago? It is very strange; it hurts my brain thinking about it at times.

"Bella baby, when is this knight in shining armour going to swoop you away?"

"NEVER!" I shouted.

The thought of being away from my friends again is painful. When I meet "the one" he has to be willing to not only take on me but also my friends.

I will never again let a guy take me away from them, like Mike did.

After I've stopped and spoken to Paul, Embry, Jared and all these other random faces, I make my way back to Leah & Jake.

I'm feeling pretty buzzed, warm and happy, my feet are now getting cold and Leah flings my Uggs at me and just rolls her eyes, Am I that obvious?

Seth gets the Tequila out, which means its shot time!

Jacob comes up behind me, wraps his arms around my shoulders and whispers in my ear that he is worried about me, I look over at Leah and she has the same look on her face. Seriously? This protective shit is frustrating. Argh.

I tell Jake I'm fine, he whispers "Tomorrow we will talk madam." I know he's happy that it's off his chest; he's waited all night to say it.

I'm too drunk to care anyway, we take shots, we all dance around the fire, I vaguely hear someone ask "Who's that group up on the hill?" but couldn't tell you who said it, I wasn't paying much attention.

We act like big kids when we get together on the beach,

Seth and Jake are never far away from me.

I'm used to it.

I ignore it.

Lilly, Leah, Rachael who is Paul's wife, and I are dancing. We are, swaying our hips, hands in the air and signing at the top of our lungs. Like I said, we're big kids!

I'm drunk now, and I feel a need for conversation. I walk around to find my friend Leah. We always have the best conversations when we are both drunk. And tonight, I need a conversation with my best bud!

I grab a half empty bottle of tequila and give Leah the eye roll that is our code for:- Let's go talk now bitch.

The guys know the deal. They're not allowed.

They don't say anything.

Leah and I always disappear when drunk, it's our thing. She is my female equivalent of Jacob, she is my female confidant.

I loop my arm through hers and we walk as far away from everyone as we can, these little chit chats can be epic you know.

"Spill Bella" is all Leah has to say. I talk when drunk, I let go completely, it's the only time I will fully open up. I'm such a Swan!

"Fuck Leah, MSH with his chemically enhanced hair used me!"

I took a swig of tequila and passed the bottle to Leah.

"You would have thought after Mike I would see the warning signs of a user but nooo! My freaking kitty gets to rule my head when it comes to Prick-Ward! He is my fricking boss! He is Jasper's bud! He is my manger's brother! I've totally fucked up Leah!" I let it all out in a rush before continuing.

"You know LeLe I was discussing with my Mom about going away for a year."

"Wh… wh…. Why?" Leah stammered out.

"What's there here for me Lele? My job, I can get another. My house, it's paid for. My car? A gift from Jake & Seth. You and Jake have each other. Seth has Lilly. Fuck, Jasper and I hate each other most of the time! I gave myself up to my CEO like a fucking slut LeLe!

"I gave the bastard my all; I let him to the promise land with his fucking tongue! And I haven't laid eyes on him since. I then find out he tells Rosalie fucking Hale, who obviously can't keep her yap shut, she told Jacob! I bet all of Cullen Designs know how much of a Whore Bella Swan is! I FUCKING HATE THIS PLACE."

"Bells calm the fuck down, if Jake and Seth hear you, they will kill Cullen with their bare hands!" Leah all but sneered at me.

"My turn now biatch" Leah said.

I turned to look at my best friend; she had tears running down her face.

"Jake and I cant have kids baby girl, the damage from the cyst was too much and my tubes are scarred, so I fucking need you here as Jake is going to go a little crazy when the shock passes and you are the only one that can talk him down. We both need you so fucking much" she croaked out

At this point we had our arms wrapped around each other bawling our eyes out.

I don't usually display such emotions. I am definitely Charlie's daughter. But yeah, my eyes were leaking now. The things alcohol can do to a person!

I don't know how long we stayed in this little bubble. We passed the tequila back and forth until it was gone. Leah cried harder, my eyes leaked water more, then it's a black hole. All I can remember hearing is "I'LL FUCKING TAKE HER"

Don't hit me! Bella's little "big" declaration was coming ….. But so is E…. And I wanted to get the friends dynamics out the way so we can get onto losing Bella's drought :)
